Kind Books

 

We have begun creating KINDNESS book packages to send to Elementary schools throughout the state. These books are chosen to meet the reading levels of the schools and can be used in the classroom as a resource for students and teachers to begin the conversation about bullying. We have used teacher, social worker, and librarian assistance in selecting these choices. Here are some of our picks that we have delivered;

 

 

Laura Clarizio, a local author, has created a book series called

 

“If I Had a Magic Carpet”.

Some of the titles in this series focus on bullying and learning to be kind. The books we purchase from Laura are autographed copies which are a special treat for the reader.
